UCSI International School, Springhill #1

This project was completed in 2012, the same year I got pregnant and delivered my baby boy. This is one of the project that I was involved right from the drawing board till the final construction of the building. It was all sweat and tears but seeing the final results is truly a sense of achievement. Spanning across 20 acres of land, this purpose-built campus comprises an Olympic size swimming pool, running track, mini golf course. With a built-up area of 120, 000 square feet, this is the first international school built by UCSI Education Sdn. Bhd.

I wanted to design a learning space where it is fun, inspiring and yet with a hint of seriousness on the pocket of space within the building. Comprise of a central administrative block, the other 2 span of extension will equally divide the primary wing and secondary wing. The architecture is simple, with linear lines as the main theme that carries across the façade, this contemporary design architecture are able to take up to 2500 students at one time.
